February 1 – ODC/Dance Unplugged: "Path of Miracles"ODC Theatre - In this edition of ODC/Dance Unplugged, a recurring platform offering a rare and candid look into the creative process, we explore how a choreographer conceives of and directs singers in collaboration with the dancers. February 2 – Night of IdeasSF Main Library - Join us on February 2, 2019 when the San Francisco Public Library, SFMOMA, and the French Consulate in San Francisco unite to present a seven-hour marathon of debate, performance, readings and music featuring top thinkers from San Francisco and beyond as we envision the city of the future. February 3 – A Little Night MusicYBCA – A Little Night Music is the enchanting story of three couples and their romantic machinations, set during the magical and romantic midsummer of Sweden at the turn of the last century.  The story of the play unfolds through the eyes of the young and the memories of the old. February 7 – Tribal & Textile Art Show 2019 Opening Cocktail PremiereFort Mason, Festival Pavilion – The San Francisco Tribal & Textile Art Show presents a comprehensive selection of national and international galleries representing the arts of Asian, Oceanic, African, Native American and Latin American indigenous peoples. Opening Night Gala will include live music, cocktails and other libations, hors d'oeuvres and an opportunity to celebrate, mingle with the exhibitors and have the first opportunity to purchase at the show. February 11 – SF Indie Fest Presents CenterlineThe Roxie Theatre - Due to the development of self-driving AI, traffic accidents ae drastically decreased in 2027. Amane Yonago, a new Prosecutor, is assigned to the Transportation Division. Unhappy with her new job, she decides to indict the self-driving car's AI which crossed the center line in error and caused an accident. VISIT THE SITE

February 17 – Monet: The Late YearsdeYoung Museum - The exhibition features 50 paintings by Claude Monet dating mainly from 1913 to 1926, the final phase of his long career, including 20 works from the Musée Marmottan Monet in Paris. VISIT THE SITE

February 19 – The Hundred Wells of Salaga - Author Ayesha Harruna Attah in conversation with Jewelle Gomez. Cosponsored by MOADMechanic’s Institute - Black History Month brings forth a book by a new Ghanaian literary voice, Ayesha Harruna Attah.  Her breakout novel explores slavery, power and freedom and the lives of two women during the scramble for Africa in Pre-colonial Ghana. February 20 – Show Me As I Want To Be SeenContemporary Jewish Museum – Taking the work of French Jewish artist and writer Claude Cahun (1894–1954) and her lifelong lover and collaborator Marcel Moore (1892–1972) as its starting point, Show Me as I Want to Be Seen examines the empowered representation of fluid and complex identity.
