CITY LIVING with The Stein Team, March 2018

MARCH 2018
From The Stein Team

New Offering from the Stein Team: 333 Central Park West, $10,995,000

CITY LIVING with the Stein Team

In the last month, there has been a significant uptick in signed contracts over the $4 million mark throughout Manhattan. This is due, in part, to better pricing, as well as more buyers out looking and finally ready to purchase. With the weather warming and the Spring season upon us, we are optimistic that the next few months will be active. We are bringing a number of new properties to the market, as well as announcing price reductions on a number of residences we currently have for sale. March through June should be good months to buy and sell.

If you can Make it in Midtown...

In the heart of it all, Midtown Manhattan is a world-class cultural scene and the epicenter of New York City. Offering an endless array of options for shopping, eating, living, and culture, this timeless neighborhood is home to the city's iconic skyscrapers and picture-perfect, quintessential New York sights.
If you're looking to indulge in some retail therapy, there is nowhere better than the world-renowned shopping of Fifth Avenue, from Macy's on 34th St all the way up to Bergdorf Goodman on 59th. If you're looking for something higher browed, you’ll never be at a loss for cultural attractions: Rockefeller Center, the Museum of Modern ArtMorgan Library, and New York Public Library all call Midtown home.
Need a bite? There is always somewhere new and exciting to dine. Recently opened at Tiffany and Co. is the Blue Box Cafe - serving classic American breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea, you can live your Audrey Hepburn fantasy and really have breakfast at Tiffany's. Head to the Lobster Club to see and be seen — a colorful restaurant under famous sushi Chef Tasuku Marakami in the historic Seagram building  (and Midtown's hardest reservation to nab.)
For spending the night, look no further than Midtown's latest 5-star hotel, the Baccarat, where you drink, dine and sleep surrounded by 15,000 iridescent crystals throughout the 50-story property, including 2,000 Harcourt glasses affixed to LED lights built into the walls of the hotel's foyer.
And with an ever-changing skyline, new developments like 53 W 53rd St, 520 Park Ave, and 50 United Nations Plaza are raising the bar for luxury real-estate in the neighborhood that brought us Billionaire Row. Talk about sky-high expectations!

More texture, more color, more pattern, more embellishment, more everything! A backlash from recent years' "less is more" approach, we're at the precipice of a renaissance to bring color, pattern and personality back into living spaces. Minimalism has been the name of the game since design-within-reach retailers like DWR, West Elm and IKEA have succeeded in bringing affordable-yet-expensive-looking Scandinavian-inspired home decor to the masses. But we're seeing a shift in taste, with many embracing a more eclectic, and more personal style. There's a fine line between maximalism and hoarding, so we've put together some inspiration to help you maintain a balance between bold patterns, rich textures, and your eclectic accessories.
