Real estate activity is busy in Carmel and Pebble Beach.  Here is the latest news:

Carmel has 128 homes currently active, there are 34 homes pending sale, and there has been 16 sales this year.  The highest sale recorded in 2014 was for a home on Scenic Drive for $6,800,000.  This new home featured expansive ocean views with 2644 SF, 3 bedrooms, and 3 baths.  Carmel is leading the sold sales in 2014 when compared to Pebble Beach.

Pebble Beach has 65 active listings, there are 24 homes pending sale, and there has been 8 sold homes.  The highest recorded sale in 2014 was for a home on Rodeo Road which sold for $4,700,00.  This home was built in 2006 and was situated on a MPCC's 5th fairway with lovely Ocean views.  This home showcased 3870 SF of living space on 3 levels, 4 bedrooms, 4.5 baths on a 9200 SF lot.  It took 330 days to sell this home, the original list price was for $4,995,000.  

I placed a 10,000 SF estate in Pebble Beach in escrow last week, the buyer was an international client.  Escrow is expected to close the end of this month.  Another $16 million dollar estate went PS a few days ago in Pebble Beach.  Pebble Beach should lead sales in my next market report.
